These rigs have us brimming to get on the road and go camping this year.

The best motorhomes have always leaned towards the aspirational. But, for 2026, the RV industry is taking things up a notch. Thanks to innovative designs and new technologies, today’s motor coaches are among the best to ever hit the road.

And while quality abounds, a few rigs still stand out from the crowd, deftly blending comfort and capability to create remarkable homes on wheels. The following six vehicles are reimagining the camping experience, each in its own ways, and despite the plentiful options out there, these are the models that we’d most love to spend some time in this year.

Newmar King Aire

Wildsam

Why We Love It: RVs don’t get any more opulent than this.

The Newmar King Aire sets the standard for luxury Class A coaches, offering a suite of amenities that includes Italian leather furniture, quartz countertops, European hardwood cabinets, and stylish wooden floors. A modern kitchen—complete with residential appliances—and a spa-inspired bathroom are also highlights, as is the king-size bed found in the primary suite. But it's the unique amenities, like cathedral ceilings in the shower, illuminated cedar wardrobes, and bay-style windows, that elevate the glamping experience. All of this luxury doesn’t come cheap, though: pricing starts at $1.7 million.

Tiffin Phaeton

Why We Love It: Pet-friendly options include a camera to keep an eye on our furry friends.

Another luxury Class A model, the Tiffin Phaeton is a beautiful rig inside and out. Most floor plans offer a bath-and-a-half layout, with room to sleep up to eight. For 2026, the diesel-powered coach comes with heated tile floors, handcrafted cabinetry, solid surface countertops, and a built-in central vacuum system to keep everything clean. King mattresses are standard across all floor plans, as are ceiling fans, residential appliances, and spacious showers. A drawer-style dishwasher and a washer/dryer combo are optional upgrades worth splurging on. This is a luxury camper that most of us only dream about owning.

Entegra Embark

Wildsam

Why We Love It: A more environmentally friendly way to hit America’s highways.

This year, the Embark returns to the Entegra lineup, albeit in a completely new form. The Class A model offers a spacious, modern, and comfortable interior that RVers will love, but its most notable innovation is the chassis it rides on. This rig utilizes an all-electric platform augmented with a range-extending gas-powered generator that gives it a range of up to 450 miles between recharges and fill-ups. For 2026, the coach will only be available for rent, but a consumer model is in the works. We’d love to get behind the wheel of this game-changing vehicle to get a glimpse of the future of RVing.

Renegade XL Super C

Wildsam

Why We Love It: Starlink and a Wi-Fi router come standard for enhanced connectivity.

The Renegade XL is proof that you don’t need to drive a Class A coach to get a luxury experience. This Super C model includes such high-end features as porcelain-tiled floors, quartz countertops, and hardwood maple cabinets. It also comes in nine distinct exterior paint schemes and has an interior that resembles a sleek modern apartment more so than an RV. The primary bedroom includes a king bed with a memory foam mattress, ample storage, and a shower that’s nicer than the one most of us have at home. This rig is perfect for everything from weekend getaways to full-time RV living.

Grand Design Lineage Series F

Wildsam

Why We Love It: Grand Design’s meticulous design and build quality meet the motorized RV space.

Sure, this Super C has plenty of great interior features, like a king bed, powered theater seating, a booth dinette, washer/dryer prep, and a well-equipped kitchen. But it's the Grand Design Lineage Series F's bonafide off-road 4x4 cred—bolstered by a Ford F-600 chassis and a custom Fox Factory suspension—that has us most excited. This is a motorhome that can take you places where other Class C models can’t go. Add in 1,000 watts of solar and an 8.0kW Onan generator, and you’re set for a boondocking adventure.

Jayco Granite Ridge

Wildsam

Why We Love It: This RV inspires our sense of adventure.

The 2026 Jayco Granite Ridge is built from the ground up to serve as a basecamp for outdoor activities. The rig is available on either a Ford Transit or a diesel-powered Mercedes Sprinter chassis, both of which offer excellent off-road performance. A heated rear garage offers plenty of room for outdoor gear, including enough space to pack a pair of bikes. Inside, the coach offers a twin bed layout that converts to a king, a wet bath, and a dinette with a removable table. A 360-watt solar panel supplies power to a 3.9kWh house battery, enabling off-grid exploration for days at a time. A Starlink satellite internet system is an optional upgrade for those who absolutely must get work done at the campsite.
